Animation

We create bespoke sequences within films and episodic series from initial conception through to delivery. 

Our in house team is passionate about all forms of 2D animation! We’ve created fun retro 2 bit style animations for Netflix’s The Program,

and have bought Martin Scorsese’s storyboards to life for Apple’s Mr Scorsese.

 

Our team was a wealth of experience in concept creation, character design, storyboarding animatics – then onto animating. We’ve created three animated films:

Award winning hand illustrated, The Amazing Adventures of Awesome

Queer frame by frame film In, Out

Adaptation 2D puppet style, The Dog Park

 

We also work with trusted 3D artists to incorporate 3D into our 2D animation pipeline, delivering our animation work on time and on budget.

We are very passionate about delivering work which is synonymous with story and keeping a hand crafted quality to our work.

The Process

Bringing an animated sequence to life is a collaborative, evolving process. From Keys & Breakdowns through In-Betweens, Clean, Colour, 2D FX and Comp, each stage builds on the last, allowing us to track the journey from the first frame to the finished product.

ANIMATION REEL

We’ve worked on both fully animated films and animation sequences within films. Ranging from nostalgic dream sequence of CNN‘s Rock Hudson to the hand illustrated courtroom paintings of Showtime‘s Detainee. Our approach is story led, discovering and executing an animation style which works to elevate the narrative.
