It was fantastic to be back at Annecy this year—the world’s largest animation festival—with Allison representing Australia as part of the Australian delegation. The trip began in London, attending industry events focused on strengthening creative relationships between the UK and Australia, before heading to Annecy for a week packed with meetings, collaborations and far too many hot, sweaty catch-ups in the middle of a European heatwave!
Alongside the business side of the festival, it was also a great opportunity to focus on creative development on several projects including our own IP.
A huge thank you to Screen Queensland for their travel support, and to Ausfilm for bringing together such a fantastic delegation. It’s always energising to reconnect with the global animation community, particularly in such an incredibly beautiful place a la Annecy!
