We were delighted to hear that Undercover: Exposing The Far Right has been nominated at the BAFTA TV Awards 2025 for Best Single Documentary. It was a pleasure to collaborate with director Havana Marking and Producer Natasha Dack Ojumu.
Undercover: Exposing the Far Right is a powerful and revealing investigation into the modern far-right movement, uncovering its deeply racist ideology and the sophisticated media tactics and manipulation it uses to spread its message. Drawing on covert operations and firsthand accounts, the documentary features exclusive investigations conducted by the anti-fascist organisation Hope not Hate.
Contributing to this documentary came with a huge sense of responsibility. The subject matter is both highly sensitive and overwhelmingly relevant in today’s global political landscape, where the resurgence of far-right ideologies continues to influence politics, social media, elections and public discourse. We approached the storytelling with a deep awareness of its potential impact and the ethical obligation to present the facts with accuracy, sensitivity, and integrity. Our visual approach was carefully designed to support the narrative and clarify the complex web of factions and ideologies while remaining subtle enough not to distract from the gravity of the story being told.

Our short title card was designed to evoke a sense of foreboding. From the moment the typography emerges out of darkness to its slow disintegration into blur and separation/fragmentation. This visual progression mirrored the documentary’s covert themes, capturing the atmosphere of secrecy and infiltration. It also served as a symbolic reflection of a broader societal unraveling, as these hateful ideologies quietly erode the foundations of civilised human life.
